I think this pair of Morgans was a good representation of 2018 for me: frustrating, tedious and irritating but overall worth it. It was mostly the topstitching and the waistband. I realized I should've used white topstitching but if I'd done that it would've been hard to see what I was doing. On the other hand the general jean topstitching was highly visible. Because the waistband has a very pronounced curve (swipe to see, was hard to get the whole thing), it took some trys to topstitch into place... 4 trys to be exact and lots of pins and ironing. Thankfully they look some sort of decent, and they only have belt loops and hems left. In the meantime let's talk about this cool corner we found in our condo perfect for pictures. I've become accustomed to taking photos in select areas around DFW but I really wanted a place to just take simple progress shots for my #dailydiy and #ootd moments. Behold this well lit corner!! .
